Orange Clown Anemonefish (Amphiprion percula) カクレクマノミ
The Orange Clown Anemonefish are very similar to the Amphiprion ocellaris so I am not sure. The white bars are edged with black which is supposed to be the sign for Amphiprion percula.
They are shy and like to hide.
Their home is small and so are they. they live in front of my house. (Amami)
I visited the Clown Anemonefish after a long time to see how they were doing. The host anemone is browner than before. I think that this is a good sign of health. I didn’t notice at the time but looking at the pictures there are fish eggs hatching below the Anemonefish.
Zooming in on the eggs in another picture. I am pretty sure that these are Orange Clown Anemonefish due to their location. I went back two days later to get a closer picture, but they were all gone. So far these have been the only Clown Anemonefish that I have found.
