
Humpnose Unicornfish (Naso tonganus) トサカハギ – size 60cm – Humphead – Bulbnose
The Humpnose Unicornfish is not very common in Japan. They also have a large hump instead of a horn. The back of the tail is dark with a white trailing edge. They were once known as Naso tuberosus but were split off as Naso tonganus. Naso tuberosus has a wide white edge to the tail and is in the Indian Ocean. Amami 2025
