Pale Surgeonfish (Acanthurus mata) ヒラニザ – size 50cm – Yellowmask Surgeonfish
The Pale Surgeonfish has light blue lines along the body. They also have two yellow lines from the forehead to the eye and one yellow line from the eye to the top of the gill cover where there is a dark spot. They can be darker than this one and juveniles are quite dark with a white ring around the front of the tail. Amami 2026
