Splendid Garden Eel (Gorgasia preclara) ニシキアナゴ – size 40cm – Orange-barred Garden Eel
The Splendid Garden Eel is found in the Indo-Pacific. They like deep sandy areas with strong currents. They are plankton feeders, so they need the currents to deliver their food. They are found here in Amami I just haven’t seen them yet. Sunshine Aquarium 2003
