An adult Twospot Surgeonfish has dots on the face and lines on the body. There are two black spots at the base of the dorsal and anal fins. There is still a blue ring around the eye and a blue edge to the dorsal and anal fins. The body is brownish but can turn black. The one above was one of two that were changing back and forth between light and dark. Amami 2026
