The Highfin Chub has fins that stick out more. It’s most noticeable in the anal fin. Amami 2024
The Highfin Chub is in the middle if you look at the anal fin, it sticks out more and the peak of it is in the middle. The dorsal fin also sticks up more at the back. The line of the back of the anal fin aligns more with the dorsal fin than the caudal fin. To the right is a Lowfin Chub and the anal fin is lower profile with the peak forward. The edge of the back or the Lowfin aligns wit the top edge of the caudal fin. They are both displaying white blotches which are temporary. Amami 2019
