The Laysan Albatross is often seen around Kauai during the winter breeding season. The rest of the year they are gone. They spread out over the North Pacific which is a big area. The Northwest Hawaiian Islands Kauai and Oahu are the main breeding grounds. The island Of Laysan is in the Northwest Hawaiian Islands. Kauai 2010
