This Blue Marlin was caught off of Kona. I had my sailboat hauled out at Honokahau, and my friend James Dean invited me to go fishing. I was hoping to catch some fish for dinner, but we caught this 506 lbs. Marlin instead. It was sold and we had no fish for dinner. Hawaii 1990’s
This Blue Marlin we caught in the Kauai channel while bringing the Tropic Bird to Kauai. This time no one else wanted any and we ate a lot of marlin. We also gave a lot away to a lot of people. It was eventually all eaten. Kauai 1995
