(Plagusia immaculata) ツブイボショウジンガニ – Carapace 4cm
Plagusia immaculata are rafting crabs that are often found on floating objects in the ocean. They are also found in the inter tidal zone of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. they are hard to spot and quick when they have to be. The only common name I could find for them in English was Scaly Rock Crab which is also the name for Plagusia squamosa. That name seems to fit Plagusia squamosa better. Amami 2025
