Peacock Mantis Shrimp (Odontodactylus scyllarus) モンハナシャコ
The Peacock Mantis Shrimp is large for a mantis shrimp. It can reach 17 cm. they live in burrows in the reef. They use their claws like a boxer and crush sells of shellfish, which they eat. They pack enough of a punch to break the glass in aquariums.
They have cool looking eyes too. They are very shy and duck into their burrows when frightened.
