Marbled Blenny (Entomacrodus marmoratus) size 15cm
I think that this is a Marbled Blenny, which is a Hawaii endemic fish. They are common in tidepools. They have a varied appearance which can darken and lighten. This was in a tidepool. Kauai 2003
