Longnose Butterflyfish (Forcipiger longirostris) オオフエヤッコダイ Lauwiliwilinukunukuoioi – size 22cm
The Longnose Butterflyfish is very similar to the Forcepsfish. It has longer snout with a smaller mouth, and a white patch behind the pectoral with black dots. With that long snout it is good at getting to small things in hard to reach places. Its Hawaiian name is often considered to be longer than the fish. Kauai 2018
