Kona Crab (Ranina ranina) アサヒガニ – size 22cm – Spanner Crab
Kona Crabs live out in the sand flats. I saw this one from the surface, but it was under the sand way before I could get near it. They are caught with strings of round crab nets. They are good to eat. Kauai 2012
