There are many frogs on the island of Amami. There seems to be a lot of variation in the coloring of frogs and I cannot tell them apart. So here are some pictures of frogs. Some many be Ryukyu Kajika Frog (Buergeria japonica) リュウキュウカジカガエル. I just don’t know which ones if any. This frog was in my garden. Amami 2024

I was chasing a small frog in a stream. It was really small and I wanted to get a closeup picture of it. I was concentrating on getting a sharp focus on it. When I looked at it later, I realized that the rock that I thought it was on, was another frog. 2024
