Flowery Flounder (Bothus mancus) モンダルマガレイ – Paki’i – size 50cm
The Flowery Flounder has lots of blue rings which can change in brightness. It also usually has two or three darked blotches along the lateral line. the body is also slightly concave in the area near the eyes. The eyes a spaced wider apart and the top one is further back than the similar Panther Flounder. It is also more likely to be seen on the reef than other flounders. Kauai 2015
