Triton’s Trumpet (Charonia tritonis) ホラガイ – size 40cm
The Triton’s Trumpet is a large shell that eats starfish. They also eat the Crown of Thorns Starfish, which has been known to devastate coral reefs. This shell was not very large and had a hermit crab living inside. Kauai 2017
