The Yellowtail Fangblenny is said to have venomous fangs in its lower jaw. It uses them for defense and to fight with other Yellowtail fangblennies.
The Yellowtail Fangblenny does look a lot like the Bicolor Fangblenny. The Yellowtail has a black line (eyelash) going up and back from the eye.
