The Short-Finned Pilot Whale is a large dolphin. Some may prefer to call dolphins small toothed-whales. They live in pods have teeth and eat fish and squids.
They are mainly black and have a very rounded head. The large males have a very wide dorsal fin making them easy to identify. Kauai 2006
