The Samurai Squirrelfish is similar to the Crown Squirrelfish, but the stripes go all the way to the tail. The Crown Squirrelfish has a bit of a white patch before the tail. Amami 2024
From top to bottom there is a Lattice Soldierfish, Samurai Squirrelfish and a Spotfin Squirrelfish. The squirrelfish are often mixed together in caves or near caves in the daytime. Amami 2024
