The same Pinktail Triggerfish in Hawaii also has an orange tail. The best explanation I could find is that it has a little extra yellow pigment. Several other types of fish also have yellow versions too. I recently saw a Pinktail Triggerfish with a pink tail in Japan. It gave me the slip before I could get a picture. It was not far from my housee I’ll be on the lookout. Kauai 2015
