Leviathan Cowry (Lyncina leviathan) ハワイクチムラサキダカラ – size 10cm
The Leviathan Cowry is as the name implies large. It has a brown base and yellow top with light bars. The Hawaiian subspecies is Lyncina leviathan leviathan. The Japanese name I found has Hawaii at the start so I think that the ones in Japan should be called クチムラサキダカラ. The teeth on the bottom are purple. Kauai 2016
