Leaf Scorpionfish (Taenianotus triacanthus) ハダカハオコゼ – size 10cm
Leaf Scorpionfish are small tin and come in a variety of colors. It is said that they shed their skin often and can change their color when they do. They usually sit on the bottom and wait for a smaller fish to come too close. They do look like a leaf rocking back and forth. Kauai 2015

The Leaf Scorpionfish are found from Africa to the Galapagos Islands. These pictures are from Hawaii, but they are in Japan too. Kauai 2022
