
Honeycomb Coral (Gardineroseris planulata) ヒラフキサンゴ
Honeycomb Coral is usually Yellow-brown to Pinkish-Brown. This year there was a lot of coral bleachng, so a lot of the brown was gone from a lot of corals. The bleaching was pretty for a while until lots of coral died and the skeletons became encrusted. These must have been at least stressed. I hope that they survived. Some corals survived but by 2025 some heathy looking reefs look like a wasteland. Amami 2024
