The Fivefinger Razorfish is found in sandy areas. It looks for food in the sand and dives into the sand to hide. They are shy and hard to approach. It has a light spot in the middle with a smaller dark spot above. Larger ones have red scales behind the eye that appear black at depth. Amami 2025
