Collector Urchin (Tripneustes gratilla) シラヒゲウニ – size 13cm
Collector Urchins have short spines and long tube feet. They use the tube feet to collect debris as camouflage. This one has had some of the debris cleared. They mainly collect bits of alae, but will collect any light object paper, plastic, or coral rubble as well. Amami 2024
