Mozambique Scorpionfish (Parascorpaena mossambica) ネッタイフサカサゴ – size 12cm
The Mozambique Scorpionfish has several very similar species. One reference I found suggests that some Parascorpaena armata in the Pacific are misidentified as Parascorpaena mossambica. The range of the Mozambique Scorpionfish is from Mozambique through the Indian and Pacific Oceans to South America. I am only going on visual appearance and from what I can find Parascorpaena mossambica is the best fit. Amami 2026
