Spotfin Scorpionfish (Sebastapistes ballieui) size 12cm
The Spotfin Scorpionfish is an endemic fish of Hawaii. The are not very big and this one is very small. They have red and white spots on their pectoral fins. There are also red dots under the dorsal fin. They look dark here because the light was not hitting them. They have skin flaps around the eyes and face. Kauai 2017
