Tomato Anemonefish start out as bright orange with a white stripe. They mature as males that are larger. The female is larger and darker. There is only one female at a time and when it is gone the dominate male will turn into a female. Miyakojima 2017

This male Tomato Anemonefish with a heart patch may be turning into a female. Amami 2019

I think that this is a Tomato Anemonefish with two bars. It is said that the juveniles often have two or three white bars. The bars on the body fade away, as they mature into a males. There is also a very similar Amphiprion melanopus which is not found in Japan that can look like this. Another possibility is that it could be a hybrid Amphiprion frenatus x ocellaris. Amami 2025
