As a mature female you can see why it is also known as a Bicolour Parrotfish. It was once called (Cetoscarus bicolor) but that fish is only found in the Red Sea. The fish that were once called (Cetoscarus bicolor) that were not in the Red Sea, were changed to (Cetoscarus ocellatus) in 2012.
Finaly the Spotted Parrotfish becomes a mature male with lots of big and little spots. Amami 2023
