Raggy Scorpionfish (Scorpaenopsis venosa) ヒュウガカサゴ – size 25cm
I am pretty sure this is a Raggy Scorpionfish. It has a dark triangular spot below the eye. The dark spot has a white bar in front of it. There are also white patches between the dorsal fins and on the top of the peduncle. There are many similar species. It is still best to keep away from the spines that are venomous on all the varieties of Scorpionfish. Amami 2023
